January 16, BPN. The Belarusian currency slid to 2.6162 rubels per US dollar and to 3.9 rubels per 10 Chinese yuan at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) on January 16.
At the same time, it jumped to 2.8347 per euro. It also rose 0.46 percent to 3.8459 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (January 9-13), the rubel soared 4.61 percent against the dollar and 2.99 percent against the yuan. It dropped 0.22 percent against the euro and 1.37 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
