Russia’s top diplomat highlights common position with Belarus on foreign “threats”

January 19, BPN. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that he discussed the international situation relating to the “special military operation” in Ukraine with Alaksandr Łukašenka in Minsk.

“We have a common position on goals to be reached and ways to eliminate any threats to Russia and Belarus from our neighbors, be it Ukraine or anyone else. Everything that needs to be done is being done by direct order of the two presidents,” Lavrov said, as quoted by the Russian foreign ministry’s press office.
