Belarusian currency weakens against dollar, euro, ruble

January 19, BPN. The rubel weakened to 2.6401 per US dollar, 2.8533 per euro and 3.8361 per 100 Russian rubles at the January 19 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

At the same time, it rose to 3.8913 per 10 yuan.

Last week (January 9-13), the rubel soared 4.61 percent against the dollar and 2.99 percent against the yuan. It dropped 0.22 percent against the euro and 1.37 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
