Russia’s energy ministry says Belarus to pay old price for gas in 2023

February 3, BPN. The price of Russian natural gas for Belarus in 2023 will not change and will be calculated in Russian rubles, TASS reported citing Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov.

In 2022, Belarus paid $128.52 per thousand cubic meters of gas, switching to the Russian ruble in settlements in April.

On January 12, Alaksandr Łukašenka said that integration with Russia had made little progress, especially in the energy sector, adding that the deal was temporary, just for three years.
