Rubel down against dollar, euro at BCSE

February 17, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.8122 at the February 17 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also dropped against the euro to 3.0029 but climbed against the Chinese yuan to 4.0828 per 10 yuan and against the Russian currency to 3.7617 per 100 rubles.

This week, (February 13 – 17), the rubel fell 1.77 percent against the dollar, 0.93 percent against the euro, and 0.58 percent against the yuan. It climbed 1.04 percent against the Russian ruble.  

The Belarusian currency strengthened by 3.27 percent against the dollar in January following a 7.39 percent plunge against the greenback in 2022.
