Rubel down against euro, Russian currency at BCSE

February 20, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the euro to 3.0029 at the February 20 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also dropped against the Russian currency to 3.7773 per 100 rubles, but climbed against the US dollar to 2.789 and against the Chinese yuan to 4.0654 per 10 yuan.

Last week, (February 13 – 17), the rubel fell 1.77 percent against the dollar, 0.93 percent against the euro, and 0.58 percent against the yuan. It climbed 1.04 percent against the Russian ruble.  

The Belarusian currency strengthened by 3.27 percent against the dollar in January following a 7.39 percent plunge against the greenback in 2022.
