Alaksandr Łukašenka, Xi Jinping to meet in China
February 25, BPN. Alaksandr Łukašenka and Xi Jinping will meet in China, where the Belarusian leader will be on a state visit on February 28-March 2.
“The focus will be on developing trade, economic, investment and humanitarian cooperation, implementing large-scale joint projects, interacting in the political sphere, and reacting to the current international situation’s most pressing challenges,” Łukašenka’s press office reported on February 25.
“It is expected that following the talks, a large package of documents will be signed on the development of our relations in key areas,” it added.
The last time the two leaders met was in September 2022 at a regional summit in Samarkand. Following the meeting, a declaration was adopted to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership, which brought the Belarusian-Chinese relations to a new level, Xi Jinping said.
