Łukašenka appoints local officials, CEOs of state-run companies

March 27, BPN. Alaksandr Łukašenka has appointed local officials and executives to state-run companies, his press office reported.

Dźmitryj Pietražycki will serve as first deputy chair of the Homiel Regional Executive Committee; Nadzieja Łazarevič and Alaksandr Černikaŭ as first deputy chair and deputy chair of the Minsk City Executive Committee, respectively.

Dźmitryj Ułasik has been placed in charge of the Brest Regional Executive Committee. Łukašenka has also appointed Piotr Kiryčenka and Julija Lipoŭskaja to the Homiel Regional Executive Committee; Alaksandr Saksonaŭ, to the Mahiloŭ Regional Executive Committee.

Siarhiej Łabadzinki will chair the Brest City Executive Committee; Dźmitryj Kozeł appointed as head of a Homiel district executive committee; Alaksandr Horbač, the Dobruš district; Anatol Zavacki, the Vilejka district, Dźmitryj Kołas, the Uzda district, Siarhiej Jermalicki, the Kruhłaje district, Hevorh Melkanian, the Chocimsk district, Dźmitryj Akulič, the Čavusy district.

Vital Marozaŭ has been appointed head of the Čyhunačny district in Homiel.

Ihar Sysoj will serve as CEO at the Baranavičy-based cotton mill, Alaksandr Kavaloŭ at Bielšyna, Ihar Demidzienka at the Belmiedtechnika pharmaceutical company and Siarhiej Kraŭcoŭ at the Academy of Sciences Agricultural Research Center. Aleh Tokun has been appointed deputy head of the department of social policy of the Standing Committee of the Union State.
