Rubel gains against dollar, yuan

June 22, BPN. The Belarusian currency has gained against the US dollar and the Chinese yuan at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The rubel rose to 2.98 per dollar, up 0.22 percent, and to 4.1419 per 10 yuan, up 0.21 percent.

It dropped to 3.565 per 100 Russian rubles, down 0.64 percent.

There was no trading in euros, with EUR/BYN at 3.2847.

Last week (June 12 – 16), the rubel fell 1.35 percent against the dollar, 3.34 percent against the euro and 1.44 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
