Foreign investment up 10 percent in 2023 – official data
February 13, Pozirk. Foreign companies invested $7.7 billion in Belarus’ economy in 2023, the National Statistical Committee (Biełstat) reported.
Investments grew by 10 percent year on year with companies from Russia (66.7 percent of all incoming investments) and Cyprus (14.7 percent) topping the list of main investors.
Belarus also invested $5.7 billion abroad, with more than 91 percent of these funds directed to Russia.
