Łukašenka lifts VAT on crucial imported equipment
March 4, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka has signed a VAT exemption edict to facilitate equipment replacement programs, his press office reported.
“Technological equipment imported into Belarus, for which there are no domestically produced analogues, as well as components and spare parts for such equipment, are exempt from VAT,” the press office said.
Companies must submit government-confirmed proof of the absence of equipment in Belarus to be eligible for the exemption.
