Biełstat: deficit in goods trade widens in February

April 5, Pozirk. Belarus’ foreign trade in goods rose 2.1 percent year on year to $13.1 billion in the first two months of 2024, the National Statistics Committee (Biełstat) reported.

Exports increased by 2 percent to $6.3 billion, while imports climbed by 2.2 percent to $6.8 billion. The deficit widened to $482 million.

In 2023, the deficit amounted to $3.88 billion.
