Rubel drops against US, Russian, Chinese currencies

May 23, Pozirk. The rubel has dropped against the US, Russian and Chinese currencies.
At the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange today it hit 3.205 per US dollar, 3.5495 per 100 Russian rubles and 4.4118 per 10 yuan. However, it rose to 3.4788 per euro.
Last week (May 13–18), the rubel grew 0.37 percent against the dollar and 0.59 percent against the yuan but fell 0.26 percent against the euro and 0.18 percent against the Russian ruble.
The rubel lost 2.41 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2024.
