Rubel drops against US, EU, Chinese currencies
August 8, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated against the US, EU and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it fell to 3.1073 per dollar, 3.3959 per euro and 4.3114 per 10 yuan. However, it rose to 3.6108 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (July 29 – August 2), the rubel fell by 0.27 percent against the dollar, 0.44 percent against the euro and 0.04 percent against the Russian currency. It gained 0.02 percent of its value against the yuan.
The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
