Rubel up against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE

August 1, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.1253 against the US dollar at the August 1 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed to 3.385 against the euro and 4.3048 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.6038 per 100 Russian rubles. 

Last week (July 22–26), the rubel rose by 1.76 percent against the dollar, 1.44 percent against the yuan and 2.73 percent against the euro. It lost 0.4 percent of its value against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
