Rubel down against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

September 5, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.1657 against the US dollar at the September 5 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also fell to 4.475 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.5592 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency for two consecutive days and remained at 3.4819 against the euro.
Last week (August 26–30), the rubel gained 0.49 percent of its value against the US dollar but fell 1.06 percent against the euro, 0.44 percent against the yuan and 0.73 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 0.19 percent against the dollar in the first eight months of 2024.
