Ryžankoŭ heading for New York to rally opposition to sanctions

September 26, Pozirk. TheBelarusian foreign minister is in New York from September 26 to 29 to highlight the illegal and destructive nature of “unilateral sanctions.”
Maksim Ryžankoŭ will participate in the UN General Assembly’s general political discussion, meet with Collective Security Treaty Organization foreign ministers, and attend ministerial meetings of the Group of Friends of the Alliance of Civilizations and the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter, the foreign ministry’s press office said.
The Belarusian delegation will promote multi-polar world, regionalism and consolidation of like-minded countries standing for a just world order, it noted.
Belarusian diplomats will also speak about food security, traditional family values and Soviet heroism during World War II.
Ryžankoŭ is planning to hold more than 10 bilateral meetings with his counterparts and UN diplomats.
Belarusian opposition leader attended events on the sidelines of the General Assembly on September 23–25.
She is in the USA until September 28.
