Rubel rises against US dollar, euro on August 8
August 8, Pozirk. The rubel rose to 2.9876 against the US dollar at the August 8 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency appreciated to 3,4441 against the euro, but weakened against the Chinese yuan to 4,1005 for 10 and against the Russian ruble to 3.716 for 100.
This week (August 4-9), the rubel gained 0.24 percent against the dollar, 0.17 percent against the yuan, but lost 0.12 percent of its value against the euro and 0.75 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
