Cichanoŭskaja in Yerevan meets with Ukrainian foreign minister, NATO chief

May 4, Pozirk. Belarus’ opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sibiha on May 4 during her first visit to Yerevan to discuss threats from Alaksandar Łukašenka’s regime to Ukraine.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit.

In her post on X, she expressed concern about Minsk’s military buildup stressing the need for keeping up pressure on the regime “to prevent Belarus from becoming a military outpost.”

The politician also met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. “A secure Europe must include a free Belarus that contributes to stability and peace,” she stressed.
