Ukraine says Russian UAV reconnaissance units stationed in Brest
September 3, BPN. Russian units tasked with aerial reconnaissance of the Belarus-Ukraine border were spotted in Brest, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff said on 2 September.
“A position of the Russian Armed Forces’ UAV units involved in the reconnaissance of Ukraine’s border areas was discovered in the city of Brest,” it said.
Overall, according to Ukraine’s General Staff, “the situation in the Volyn and Polissya axes remains unchanged.”
Individual Belarusian army units continue to strengthen defenses of a border section in the Brest and Homiel regions. “Control checks on units and preparations for new military drills continue,” the report reads.
