Belarusian soldiers practice liberating country from invaders

September 8, BPN. The Belarusian military on September 8 launched drills at the Brescki training ground near the Polish border, as well as in the eastern Viciebsk region and central Minsk region.

The exercise will continue until September 14, the defense ministry said.

Colonel Dźmitryj Sobal revealed the concept of the drills: “The ‘enemy’ occupied part of Belarus. Our goal is to inflict maximum fire damage on him and force him out of the country.”

Belarus claims that the number of troops involved is within the limits set by the confidence-building Vienna Document 2011.
