Rubel up 1.6 percent against euro
September 14, BPN. The Belarusian currency appreciated against the euro, US dollar and yuan at the September 14 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It hiked 1.61 percent to 2.5423 rubels per euro and 1.13 percent to 3.6343 per 10 yuan. It also increased 0.33 percent to 2.5385 against the greenback.
At the same time, it fell 0.39 percent to 4.2425 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (September 5-9), the Belarusian currency rose by 0.19 percent against the Russian ruble and by 0.01 percent against the Chinese yuan. At the same time, it dropped by 0.18 percent against the US dollar and by 1.08 percent against the euro.
The rubel strengthened by 0.34 percent against the US dollar to 2.5567 between January and August 2022.
