Putin, Łukašenka discussing economy, “situation in the region”

September 26, BPN. Russia and Belarus have a lot of issues to discuss, including economy, situation in the region and the Union State, Vladimir Putin told Alaksandr Łukašenka at their September 26 meeting in Sochi.

Putin noted that “Belarusian fertilizers were still blocked off world markets,” despite the high demand for them in developing countries.

He also announced that sides will discuss Russia’s plans “for a number of large projects” that are ready for implementation.
