Łukašenka calls himself, Putin world’s most harmful, toxic people
December 19, BPN. Alaksandr Łukašenka called himself and Vladimir Putin “the most harmful and toxic people on this planet.”
“You know, we are both co-aggressors [in the war against Ukraine],” Łukašenka said sarcastically at a joint press conference with Putin in Minsk on December 19.
The Belarusian strongman said he and the Russian leader only have one dispute: pondering who is more toxic. “Vladimir Vladimirovich says it’s me. I’m starting to think he is. We’ve decided that both of us equally,” Łukašenka added.
Asked whether Russia can absorb Belarus, Putin claimed that “the Russian Federation has no interest in absorbing anyone, this is simply impractical.”
According to Łukašenka, the concept of Belarus possibly losing its independence is being broadcast “from abroad.”
“These are the talking points of our fugitives. A couple of thousand people fled. You’ve got to make money, but no-one gives you money for nothing. They don’t even write these talking points, they receive them. On the eve of your [Putin’s] visit here, what can thay talk about? About absorbtion. You should understand this very well,” Łukašenka said.
