January 17, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.632 at the January 17 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
At the same time, it strengthened against the euro to 2.834, against the Chinese yuan to 3.8911 per 10 yuan, and against the Russian currency to 3.8412 per 100 rubles.
Last week (January 9-13), the rubel soared 4.61 percent against the dollar and 2.99 percent against the yuan. It dropped 0.22 percent against the euro and 1.37 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
