February 17, BPN. Belarus’ gross domestic product fell by 5 percent in January 2023 as compared to January 2022, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) reported.
GDP decreased by 4.7 percent in 2022 compared to 2021, although the authorities planned an increase of 2.9 percent.
The government aims at a 3.8 percent rise this year.
