Rubel down against dollar, yuan at BCSE

February 21, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.8003 at the February 21 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also dropped against the Chinese yuan to 4.0803 per 10 yuan, but climbed against the euro to 2.98 and against the Russian currency to 3.7558 per 100 rubles. 

Last week, (February 13 – 17), the rubel fell 1.77 percent against the dollar, 0.93 percent against the euro, and 0.58 percent against the yuan. It climbed 1.04 percent against the Russian ruble.  

The Belarusian currency strengthened by 3.27 percent against the dollar in January following a 7.39 percent plunge against the greenback in 2022.
