Belarusian embassy in Estonia suspends consular services

May 18, Pozirk. The Belarusian embassy in Estonia has suspended consular services, including the issue of Belarusian visas, citing technical reasons.

People seeking consular assistance may contact the Belarusian consulate in Latvia’s Daugavpils or the Belarusian embassy in Finland, it noted.

Estonia does not recognize Alaksandar Łukašenka as president of Belarus, lobbying for sanctions against his government and supporting Belarusian pro-democracy forces.

Authorities in Minsk designated Estonia as an “unfriendly” state.
