Rubel hits two-year high against US dollar at BCSE on May 6

May 6, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.0127 against the US dollar at the May 6 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, a value comparable to July 2023 when it traded at 3.0057.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.405 per euro and 4.1515 per 10 Chinese yuan but dropped to 3.6792 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week, after tradings on April 30 and May 2, the rubel gained 0.35 percent against the greenback and 0.2 percent against the yuan but lost 0.24 percent against the Russian ruble. It did not trade against the euro.
The Belarusian currency gained 12.16 percent against the dollar in the first four months of 2025.
