Lithuanian PM calls urgent security meeting after drone explosion near Belarus

March 24, Pozirk. A drone carrying explosives detonated in Lithuania’s Varėna district bordering Belarus at 3:04 a.m. on March 23, LRT reported.

The drone fell on a frozen lake; no one was injured. Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė has called an urgent meeting of the National Security Commission for March 24 to discuss the incident.
