October 9, Pozirk. Juryj Alaksiej, CEO of the state-run Biełaruśfilm film production company, said he wants to make a film about Alaksandar Łukašenka.
“This is the man who made this country,” he told STV in an interview broadcast on Sunday evening. “We live in unique times and I see that we need it. Biełaruśfilm is with our president and our state, we pursue its policies, and this is reflected in our films . . . For this purpose, our government supports Biełaruśfilm.”
Biełaruśfilm would not hire any dissenters and favor members of the official youth union in its employment policy, Alaksiej stressed.
