Rubel down against U.S. dollar, euro at BCSE

August 24, BPN. The Belarusian currency has weakened against the U.S. dollar to 2.5589 and against the euro to 2.5416 at the August 24 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Chinese yuan rate has not changed, remaining at 3.7167 for 10 yuan.

The rubel has strengthened against the Russian ruble to 4.2591 for 100 rubles.

Last week (August 15-19), the Belarusian currency rose by 3.3 percent against the euro, by 1.31 percent against the U.S. dollar, and by 3.18 percent against the yuan. At the same time, it dropped by 1.27 percent against the Russian ruble.

The rubel weakened by 2.7 percent against the US dollar from 2.5481 to 2.6170 in the first seven months of 2022.
