Rubel up against U.S. dollar at BCSE

August 25, BPN. The Belarusian currency has strengthened against the U.S. dollar to 2.5475 at the August 25 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

At the same time, rubel has weakened against the euro to 2.5425, against the Russian currency to 4.2605 for 100 rubles, and against Chinese yuan to 3.7215 for 10 yuan.

Last week (August 15-19), the Belarusian currency rose by 3.3 percent against the euro, by 1.31 percent against the U.S. dollar, and by 3.18 percent against the yuan. At the same time, it dropped by 1.27 percent against the Russian ruble.

The rubel weakened by 2.7 percent against the U.S. dollar from 2.5481 to 2.6170 in the first seven months of 2022.
