Sweden appoints chargé d’affaires to Belarus

August 25, BPN. The Swedish foreign ministry says Eva Sundquist has been appointed as the next chargé d’affaires in Minsk.

Sundquist serves as a permanent counsellor at the ministry’s entrepreneurship unit (UD FH). Prior to that, she was a consul-general in Saint Petersburg. She also served at the embassies in Moscow, Berlin and Brussels.

The diplomat takes up the position in September.
