Rubel up against all major currencies at BCSE

August 31, BPN. The Belarusian currency has strengthened against the euro to 2.554, against the U.S. dollar to 2.5546, against the Russian currency to 4.2309 for 100 rubles, and against the Chinese yuan to 3.7 for 10 yuan.

Last week (August 22-26), the Belarusian currency rose by 0.69 percent against the euro and by 0.94 percent against the Russian ruble. At the same time, it dropped by 0.23 percent against the U.S. dollar and by 0.03 percent against the Chinese yuan.

The rubel weakened by 2.7 percent against the U.S. dollar from 2.5481 to 2.6170 in the first seven months of 2022.
