Rubel down against U.S. dollar, euro at BCSE
September 5, BPN. The Belarusian currency has weakened against the U.S. dollar to 2.5741 and against the euro to 2.5525 at the September 5 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The rubel has strengthened against the Russian ruble to 4.2272 for 100 rubles and against the Chinese yuan to 3.6965 for 10 yuan.
Last week (August 29 – September 2), the Belarusian currency rose by 0.28 percent against the Russian ruble and by 0.45 percent against the Chinese yuan. At the same time, it dropped by 0.15 percent against the U.S. dollar and by 0.33 percent against the euro.
The rubel strengthened by 0.34 percent against the U.S. dollar to 2.5567 between January and August 2022.
