September 19, BPN. The Belarusian government does not plan to raise utility rates until the end of 2022, Hienadź Trubiła, first deputy minister of housing and utilities, told Belarus 1.
In an interview broadcast on Sunday evening, he noted that the rates have stood since July 1.
The official also promised that housing management companies will not reduce heating temperature at residential buildings to save money.
Belarusian households currently cover just about 20 percent of the heating costs, he said.
