Belarusian pundit says Russia may attack Kyiv from Belarus again

September 21, BPN. Russia will be pushing Belarus towards a more active role in the war after “partial mobilization,” political analyst Valer Karbalevič told BPN.

He added that Moscow is unlikely to succeed in persuading Minsk to send troops to Ukraine, noting that Alaksandr Łukašenka would keep imitating support, as he has been doing for the last six months.

At the same time, Karbalevič suggested that Russia may bring back a large number of its troops to Belarus to prepare for another march on Kyiv.

He warned that some Belarusian facilities may be attacked if Russia uses Belarus for nuclear strikes against Ukraine.

Russia announced partial mobilization on September 21.
