Over 300,000 Russians visit Belarus in June and July

September 27, BPN. More than 300,000 Russian nationals visited Belarus in June and July 2022, a tourism ministry official told a press conference in Minsk on September 27.

The figure does not include “people who came on business trips,” Iryna Varanovič said.

She said Russia was the leader among countries whose holidaymakers chose Belarus.

She added that shopping trips from Russia “proved to be good” in the summer. They had not been particularly popular in the past, the official noted.
