Belarus-based Russian associations support war on Ukraine, annexation of its territories

November 29, BPN. Belarusian public associations of Russians supported the Russian aggression against Ukraine and the annexation of its territories at a conference on the preservation of historical truth hosted by the Russian embassy in Minsk on November 26.

The conference participants declared readiness “to continue efforts against the falsification of history of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and the Russian world as a whole as well as attempts to revise the outcomes of the Great Patriotic War and World War II.”

They recommended creating a council of Russian women within the coordinating council of Russian organizations in Belarus, establishing contacts and cooperation with the pro-government Belarusian Union of Women and other similar organizations in Russia and Belarus.

The pro-Russian associations plan to hold another conference in May or June 2023.
