February 16, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.7982 at the February 16 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also dropped against the Chinese yuan to 4.0982 per 10 yuan but climbed against the euro to 2.9896 and against the Russian currency to 3.7649 per 100 rubles.
Last week, (February 6 – 10), the rubel fell 2.84 percent against the dollar, 1.67 percent against the euro, and 2.09 percent against the yuan. It climbed 0.46 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency strengthened by 3.27 percent against the dollar in January following a 7.39 percent plunge against the greenback in 2022.
