Rubel down against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

May 18, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.2211 against the US dollar at the May 18 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell to 4.4164 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.5013 per 100 Russian rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.485 against the euro.

In the outgoing week (May 13–18), the rubel rose 0.37 percent against the dollar and 0.59 percent against the yuan but fell 0.26 percent against the euro and 0.18 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 2.41 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2024.
