Rubel down against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

June 12, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.1888 against the US dollar at the June 12 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell to 4.3953 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.4281 against the euro. The Belarusian currency remained at 3.5789 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (June 3–7), the rubel gained 0.78 percent against the dollar, 0.58 percent against the yuan and 0.38 percent against the EU currency. However, it lost 0.79 percent against the Russian ruble.

The rubel lost 0.89 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months of 2024.
