Rubel slides against US dollar, yuan at week’s last trading session

December 27, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.4301 at the December 27 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also fell to 4.7754 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.5615 per euro and 3.4058 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (December 23–27), the rubel gained 0.48 percent of its value against the dollar, 1.35 percent against the euro but fell 0.28 percent against the Chinese yuan and 0.54 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
