Rubel slides against US dollar, euro, yuan at week’s last trading

May 23, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.0056 against the US dollar at the May 23 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also dropped to 3.3931 per euro and 4.1715 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.759 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (May 19 – 23), the rubel appreciated by 0.26 percent against the greenback and 0.2 percent against the euro, weakening 0.47 percent against the yuan and 1.17 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 12.16 percent against the dollar in the first four months of 2025.
