Rubel slips against dollar, yuan on July 16

July 16, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated against the US and Russian currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it slipped to 2.9358 per dollar and 3.7465 per 100 Russian rubles. However, it climbed to 4.0752 per 10 yuan and 3.411 per euro.
Last week (July 7 – 12), the rubel appreciated 1.2 percent against the dollar, 2.39 percent against the euro, 1 percent against the yuan and 0.84 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 14.6 percent against the dollar in the first six months of 2025.
