Rubel down against U.S. dollar, yuan at BSCE

August 22, BPN. The Belarusian currency has weakened against the U.S. dollar to 2.5537 and against Chinese yuan to 3.7153 for 10 yuan at the August 22 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

At the same time, the rubel has strengthened against euro to 2.5523 and against the Russian ruble to 4.2677 for 100 rubles.

Last week (August 15-19), the Belarusian currency rose by 3.3 percent against the euro, by 1.31 percent against the U.S. dollar, and by 03.18 percent against the yuan. At the same time, it dropped by 1.27 percent against the Russian ruble.

The rubel weakened by 2.7 percent against the US dollar from 2.5481 to 2.6170 in the first seven months of 2022.
