Rubel down against dollar, euro at BCSE

August 26, BPN. The rubel depreciated slightly against the dollar and the euro at the August 26 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency weakened to 2.5518 rubels per one dollar and to 2.543 per one euro.

At the same time, it moved up against the Russian currency to 4.2458 rubels per 100 rubles. It also climbed to 3.7158 per 10 yuan.

On August 22-26, the rubel increased by 0.69 percent against the euro and by 0.94 percent against the Russian ruble. In the meantime, it went down by 0.23 percent against the greenback, and by 0.03 percent against the yuan.

The rubel weakened by 2.7 percent against the US dollar from 2.5481 to 2.6170 in the first seven months of 2022.
