Rubel down against euro, Russian ruble at BCSE

September 1, BPN. The Belarusian currency has weakened against the euro to 2.5556 and against the Russian currency to 4.2330 for 100 rubles at the first fall trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE). 

At the same time, the rubel has strengthened against the U.S. dollar to 2.5517 and against the Chinese yuan to 3.6992 for 10 yuan. 

Last week (August 22-26), the Belarusian currency rose by 0.69 percent against the euro and by 0.94 percent against the Russian ruble. At the same time, it dropped by 0.23 percent against the U.S. dollar and by 0.03 percent against the Chinese yuan. 

The rubel strengthened by 0.34 percent against the U.S. dollar to 2.5567 between January and August 2022.
