September 7, BPN. The Partyzanski District Court of Minsk on August 31 blacklisted the website and social media pages of the Belarusian Council for Culture as extremist content, the Council reported.
Belarusian Council for Culture was established in October 2020 and was known as the Belarusian Foundation for Cultural Solidarity until early 2021. Currently registered in Estonia as a non-profit organization, it focuses on creative projects and worldwide promotion of Belarusian culture, artists, performers, and art managers.
On June 7, the interior ministry declared the Council’s website, byculture.org, as well as its communities on social media and messengers extremist groups.
